Vagues Solid State Lighting uses innovative modular lighting concepts to enhance product reliability, increase longevity and maximize efficiency of our environmentally friendly lighting concepts. We balance manufacturing variables to supply a reliable product in a cost effective manner. In most cases the payback period of purchasing our LED solution for a commercial facility is less than 18 months. We also have the ability to create custom LED fixtures for the right applications. LED Light Module
Vagues Solid State lighting uses the Light Module as a basic block to many of our products. Our 5W module creates the same amount of light as a 50W traditional lighting alternative. Our 30W module is used in our Security Lamp and Billboard Wall Wash product.
Tube Lighting Concept
Many market solutions require an existing facility to replace a full fixture to take advantage of the LED value. VSSLight has a reliable T8 tube replacement product that will allow a ballast bypass and use the existing fixtures. This helps to diminish the upfront cost of a clean and green alternative.

Mr. Ron Wages (CEO) is a seasoned executive. He brings over 20 years of experience in successful, high tech sales, marketing, business development and general management. Ron spent the first 10 years of his career with Texas Instruments where he was the DSP Marketing Manager with Worldwide responsibility for marketing programs. He served as VP Marketing at Spectrum Signal Processing (SSPI-Nasdaq), VP Sales and Marketing at D2 Technologies, VP Business Development at Virata (VRTA-Nasdaq), VP Sales & Marketing of JDS Uniphase MEMS Business Unit (JDSU-Nasdaq) and CEO of Memscap Inc (MEMS-Euronext). He has a proven track record of managing high growth teams and building profitable businesses. He holds a BSEE from the University of Maryland College Park and a MBA from the University of Houston
Martin Vagues - CTO
Mr. Martin Vagues (CTO) is an expert in engineering, management and is a key resource to Asia’s principals and partners. Martin brings over 22 years of experience in the hi-tech industry. He has strong global leadership and has contributed to leading edge semiconductor technologies through its partners and customers. While serving as a Technology Manager for ESEC Singapore, he fathered the calibration of bond force and ultrasonic power for the wire bonder, improving ball bond consistency. He also served as the Package and Technology Staff Engineer at Cypress Semiconductor. He was in charge of process and equipment automation at JDSUniphase. Having held senior management positions at MTBSolutions, Discera, and Lion Cells, he spearheaded manufacturing and quality activities for these start-ups. He was instrumental in the acquisition of MTBSolutions. Martin spent about two years at STS in the US and China Operations as a Plant Manager and positioned the Chinese assembly operations for acquisition in six months. He is a pioneer and an industrial veteran in silicon wafer fab, packaging and integrated test solutions for CMOS, MEMS and Optics. He has proven to take a package design from a laboratory to production stage in record timings. He holds a MS degree in Engineering from San Jose State University
